The SATO Group has re-started operations at its Malaysia factory, which were temporarily suspended to contain the spread of coronavirus as reported in a previous announcement from March 2020.
The Group suspended operations at its factory in the Malaysian state of Selangor from March 18 in response to the Malaysian government’s movement control order. After receiving permission to restart manufacturing and exports, the factory resumed partial operations from April 22, limiting the number of employees on premises. From April 27, the factory resumed limited operations of its production line for printer products.
Production has continued without disruption at the Group’s Vietnam factory in Hanoi, which is another key manufacturing base.
We sincerely wish for the quick recovery of those affected and the end of the pandemic as soon as possible.
