Aug 08, 2025

Tokyo, Japan — SATO Corporation (hereinafter "SATO") today announced the launch of operations at a new factory in Thailand, established under its local sales and manufacturing subsidiary, SATO Auto-ID (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The facility commenced operations on July 29, 2025, and aims to significantly enhance the production capacity for consumable products such as labels and tags.

SATO Thailand

The new factory will serve as a key production hub not only for Thailand's steadily growing manufacturing sector but also for the neighboring countries of Laos and Myanmar where demand is expected to increase alongside economic growth.

Consumable products such as labels and tags are essential infrastructure supporting a wide range of operations in manufacturing and logistics — from product identification and process/parts management to shipping and food labeling. Ensuring a stable supply of these items helps minimize customers' operational downtime, thereby contributing to improved productivity and quality.

The SATO Group regards the development and strengthening of a stable supply system for consumable products as a crucial initiative to support sustainable business growth. Enhancing supply capabilities to deliver the right products at the right time and in the right quantity helps reinforce the reliability of the entire supply chain and strengthens the company's long-term profitability.

With the start of operations at this new facility, SATO Thailand expects to increase its supply product sales revenue by approximately 50 percent by fiscal year 2030. The factory will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth for the entire SATO Group as a key supply base for manufacturers across Thailand and the surrounding region.
